The Book of Pilgrimage Rites
(الحَاجُّ وَالمُعْتَمِرُ ضُيُوفُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى)
(The Hajj and Umrah performers are the guests of Allah)
Hadith 2536
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «الْحَاجُّ وَالْعُمَّارُ وَفْدُ اللَّهِ إِنْ دَعَوْهُ أجابَهمْ وإِنِ استَغفروهُ غَفرَ لهمْ» . رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “Those who perform the hajj and those who perform the 'umra are people who have come to visit God. If they supplicate Him He will respond to them, and if they ask Him for forgiveness He will forgive them.” Ibn Majah transmitted it.
