The Book of Supplications
(بَيَانُ فَضِيلَةِ «سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ» وَ«الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ» وَ«لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ»)
(Explanation of the virtue of “Glory be to Allah”, “All praise is for Allah”, and “There is no god but Allah”)
Hadith 2295
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّه�� صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَأَنْ أَقُولَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْس . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, "To say:Glory be to God; Praise be to God; there is no god but God; and God is most great, is dearer to me than everything on which the sun rises." Muslim transmitted it.
