The Book of Prayer
(وُجُوبُ الجَنَّةِ لِمَنْ كَانَ مُؤَذِّنًا اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً)
(Paradise is Obligatory for One Who is a Mu’adhdhin for Twelve Years)
Hadith 677
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَتَشَهَّدُ قَالَ: «وَأَنَا وَأَنَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
‘A’isha said that when the Prophet heard the mu’adhdhin uttering the testimony, he said, “I too, I too.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.
