The Book of Purification
(جَسَدُ الحَائِضِ لَيْسَ نَجِسًا كُلُّهُ)
(The Entire Body of a Menstruating Woman is Not Impure)
Hadith 549
وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ» . فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ حَيْضَتَكِ لَيْسَتْ فِي يدك» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
She also said:The Prophet said to me, “Get me the mat from the mosque,” and when I replied that I was menstruating, he said, “Your menstruation is not in your hand.” Muslim transmitted it.
