The Book of Purification
(قَوْلُ السَّيِّدَةِ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَنْ «البَوْلِ قَائِمًا»)
(The saying of Sayyida Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, regarding "urinating while standing")
Hadith 365
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: «مَنْ حَدَّثَكُمْ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَبُولُ قَائِمًا فَلَا تُصَدِّقُوهُ مَا كَانَ يَبُول إِلَّا قَاعِدا» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيّ
‘A'isha said, “If anyone tells you that the Prophet used to pass water standing, do not believe him. He never passed water but when sitting.” Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and Nasa’i transmitted it.
