كتاب أحوال القيامة وبدء الخلق
The Book of the Conditions of the Day of Resurrection and the Beginning of Creation
(قَلِيلٌ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ بَلَغْنَ دَرَجَةَ الكَمَالِ)
(Few women attained the rank of perfection)
Hadith 5724
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «كَمُلَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ كَثِيرٌ وَلَمْ يَكْمُلْ مِنَ النساءِ إِلا مريمُ بنتُ عِمْرَانَ وَآسِيَةُ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ وَفَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ» . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ أَنَسٍ: «يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ» . وَحَدِيثَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: «أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَكْرَمُ» وَحَدِيثُ ابْن عمر: الْكَرِيم بن الْكَرِيمِ: «. فِي» بَابِ الْمُفَاخَرَةِ وَالْعَصَبِيَّةِ
Abu Musa reported the Prophet as saying, "Many men have been perfect, but among women only Mary the daughter of `Imran and Asiya the wife of Pharaoh were perfect; and `A'isha's superiority over women is like the superiority of tharid over other kinds of food." (Bukhari and Muslim.)
