كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(نُبُوءَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ)(The prophecy of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him)
Hadith 5375

وَعَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ وَمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ بَدَأَ نُبُوَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ثُمَّ يَكُونُ خِلَافَةً وَرَحْمَةً ثُمَّ مُلْكًا عَضُوضًا ثُمَّ كَانَ جَبْرِيَّةً وَعُتُوًّا وَفَسَادًا فِي الْأَرْضِ يَسْتَحِلُّونَ الْحَرِيرَ وَالْفُرُوجَ وَالْخُمُورَ يُرْزَقُونَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَيُنْصَرُونَ حَتَّى يَلْقَوُا اللَّهَ» رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ»
Abu Ubaidah and Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "The beginning of this religion was with prophethood and mercy, then there will be caliphate and mercy, then there will be oppressive kings, then there will be coercion, excess, and corruption in the land. They will consider silk, private parts (adultery), and wine to be lawful. They will be provided sustenance in this state and will continue to be helped until they meet Allah." Its chain is weak; it is narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
