(أَمْرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَحْذِيرِ أَقْرِبَائِهِ)(The command to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to warn his close relatives)
Hadith 5372

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ (وَأَنْذِرْ عشيرتك الْأَقْرَبين) صَعِدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّفَا فَجَعَلَ يُنَادِي: «يَا بَنِي فِهْرٍ يَا بَنِي عَدِيٍّ» لِبُطُونِ قُرَيْشٍ حَتَّى اجْتَمَعُوا فَقَالَ: «أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ لَوْ أَخْبَرْتُكُمْ أَنَّ خَيْلًا بِالْوَادِي تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُغِيرَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَكُنْتُمْ مُصَدِّقِيَّ؟ » قَالُوا: نَعَمْ مَا جَرَّبْنَا عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا صِدْقًا. قَالَ: «فَإِنِّي نَذِيرٌ لَكُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ» . فَقَالَ أَبُو لَهَبٍ: تَبًّا لَكَ سَائِرَ الْيَوْمَ أَلِهَذَا جَمَعْتَنَا؟ فَنَزَلَتْ: (تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ) مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ نَادَى: «يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ إِنَّمَا مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُكُمْ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ رَأَى الْعَدُوَّ فَانْطَلَقَ يَرْبَأُ أَهْلَهُ فَخَشِيَ أَنْ يسبقوه فَجعل يَهْتِف يَا صَبَاحَاه»
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When this verse was revealed: "And warn your closest relatives," the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) climbed Mount Safa and began to call out: "Banu Fihr! Banu Adi!" (who are tribes of Quraysh) until they gathered together. Then he said: "Tell me, if I were to inform you that there is an army in the valley intending to attack you, would you believe me?" They said: "Yes, we have always found you truthful." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I am a warner to you before a severe punishment." Abu Lahab said: "May you perish for the rest of the day! Is this why you gathered us?" Then the Surah (Tabbat Yada Abi Lahabin Wa Tabb) "May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he" was revealed. In another narration, he called out: "Banu Abd Manaf! My example and yours is like that of a man who saw the enemy and went to save his family, fearing that the enemy would reach them before him, so he began to shout loudly: 'Ya Sabahah!'" Agreed upon.
