Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Indeed, Allah loves the wealthy person who is pious and unknown.” Narrated by Muslim. And the hadith narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): “Envy is only (permissible) towards two persons” has already been mentioned in the chapter on the virtues of the Qur’an.
