Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by us while I and my mother were plastering a part of (our) house. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Abdullah! What is happening?" I replied, "We are repairing a part (of the house)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The matter (of death) is swifter than this." Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib. Sahih, narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi.
