(نَصِيحَةُ لُقْمَانَ لِابْنِهِ)(Luqman’s advice to his son)

وَعَنْ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ لُقْمَانَ قَالَ لِابْنِهِ: «يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ تَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ وَهُمْ إِلَى الْآخِرَةِ سرَاعًا يذهبون وَإنَّك قداستدبرت الدُّنْيَا مُنْذُ كُنْتَ وَاسْتَقْبَلْتَ الْآخِرَةَ وَإِنَّ دَارًا تسيرإليها أقربُ إِليك من دارٍ تخرج مِنْهَا» . رَوَاهُ رزين
It is narrated from Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) that Luqman said to his son: "My son! Indeed, that which has been promised to people has become prolonged for them, and they are swiftly heading towards the Hereafter. And ever since you have come into this world, you have been (gradually) leaving it behind and advancing towards the Hereafter. Indeed, the home towards which you are journeying is closer to you than the home from which you have set out." I did not find it, narrated by Razeen.
