(عَدَمُ ثَبَاتِ الدُّنْيَا)(The instability of the world)
Hadith 5217

وَعَنْ شَدَّادٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُول: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا عَرَضٌ حَاضِرٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا الْبَرُّ وَالْفَاجِرُ وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ وَعْدٌ صَادِقٌ يَحْكُمُ فِيهَا مَلِكٌ عَادِلٌ قَادِرٌ يُحِقُّ فِيهَا الْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلُ الْبَاطِلَ كُونُوا مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ كل أم يتبعهَا وَلَدهَا»
Shaddad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "O people! Indeed, the world is present wealth; every righteous and wicked person eats from it. The Hereafter is a certain reality and a true promise. The Just, All-Powerful King will judge on that Day; He will establish the truth therein and eradicate falsehood. Be seekers of the Hereafter, not seekers of the world. Indeed, every child follows its mother." Its chain is weak. Abu Nu'aym narrated it in Hilyat al-Awliya.
