Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: "When there is no blessing placed in a servant's wealth, he spends that wealth on water and clay (i.e., construction)." Its chain of narration is weak. It is narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
