Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الرقاقThe Book of Heart-Softeners
(مَنْ يَشْبَعُ فِي الدُّنْيَا سَيَجُوعُ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ)(One who fills their stomach in this world will be hungry on the Day of Judgment)
Hadith 5193

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَتَجَشَّأُ فَقَالَ: «أَقْصِرْ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَطْوَلُهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا» . رَوَاهُ فِي «شرح السّنة» . وروى التِّرْمِذِيّ نَحوه
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man belching, so he said: "Reduce your belching, for on the Day of Resurrection, the person who used to eat to his fill in the world will remain hungry for a long time among the people." Sharh al-Sunnah, and Imam Tirmidhi has narrated it in the same way. Weak, narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah and Tirmidhi.
