Abu Hashim bin Utbah narrates, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, advised me: "It is sufficient for you to accumulate only so much wealth that you have one servant and one mount for striving in the way of Allah." Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, and in some copies of Mishkat, it is mentioned as Abu Hashim bin Utbad, i.e., with a dal instead of a ta, and this is a scribal error. Its chain is weak, narrated by Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, and Mishkat al-Sunnah.
