وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا ذِئْبَانِ جَائِعَانِ أُرْسِلَا فِي غَنَمٍ بِأَفْسَدَ لَهَا مِنْ حِرْصِ الْمَرْءِ عَلَى الْمَالِ والشرف لدينِهِ» رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ والدارمي
Ka'b bin Malik narrates from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Two hungry wolves left among a flock of sheep do not cause as much harm to them as a man's greed for wealth and status does to his religion." Hasan, narrated by al-Tirmidhi and al-Darimi.
