Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah does not waste any good deed of a believer; he is rewarded for it in this world and will be recompensed for it in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, he is given provision in this world for the good deeds he did for Allah, until when he reaches the Hereafter, he will have no good deed left for which he may be rewarded." Narrated by Muslim.
