(عَذَابٌ قَبْلَ المَوْتِ لِعَدَمِ النَّهْيِ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ)(Punishment before death for not forbidding evil)
Hadith 5143

وَعَن جَرِير بن عبد الله قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَكُونُ فِي قَوْمٍ يَعْمَلُ فِيهِمْ بِالْمَعَاصِي يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْ يُغَيِّروا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يُغَيِّرُونَ إِلَّا أَصَابَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِعِقَابٍ قبل أَن يموتو» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "If a person commits a sin among a people and they do not stop him despite having the power to do so, then before they die, Allah will afflict them all with His punishment." Chain is weak. Narrated by Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah.
