Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the greatest falsehood. Do not search for each other's faults, nor spy on one another. Do not bid against each other to raise prices, nor envy one another, nor bear malice, nor sever relations. And O servants of Allah! Be brothers to one another." In another narration it is stated: "(And do not try to outdo one another out of envy)." Agreed upon.
