Yazid bin Ni‘amah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a man establishes brotherhood with another man, he should ask him about his name, his father's name, and his tribe, because this increases love (friendship)." Its chain is weak. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
