(مُسْتَحِقُّ سَبْعَةً وَسَبْعِينَ مَغْفِرَةً)(Deserving seventy-three pardons)
Hadith 4997

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَغَاثَ مَلْهُوفًا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَسَبْعِينَ مَغْفِرَةً وَاحِدَةٌ فِيهَا صَلَاحُ أَمْرِهِ كُلِّهِ وَثِنْتَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ لَهُ دَرَجَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة»
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever helps a person in distress, Allah writes for him seventy-three (73) forgivenesses; one of them is for the rectification of all his affairs, while the remaining seventy-two (72) will be a means of raising his ranks on the Day of Resurrection." Its chain is fabricated. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
