Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(إِسْعَادُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِ يَعْنِي إِسْعَادَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ﷺ)(Making a believer happy means pleasing Allah and His Messenger ﷺ)
Hadith 4996

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَضَى لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي حَاجَةً يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسُرَّهُ بِهَا فَقَدْ سَرَّنِي وَمَنْ سَرَّنِي فَقَدْ سَرَّ اللَّهَ وَمَنْ سرَّ الله أدخلهُ الله الْجنَّة»
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fulfills the need of any of my followers through which he wishes to make him happy, then he has made me happy; whoever makes me happy has made Allah happy; and whoever makes Allah happy, Allah will admit him into Paradise." Its chain is fabricated. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
