Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A servant’s parents, or one of them, passes away while he was disobedient to them, and then (after their death) he continues to pray for them and seeks forgiveness for them, so Allah records him as one who does good to his parents." Weak, narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
