Hadith 4908

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «حُبُّكَ الشَّيْءَ يُعْمِي وَيُصِمُّ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Love for something makes one blind and deaf." Its chain is weak, narrated by Abu Dawood.
