Hadith 4901

وَعَن الْحسن عَن سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ وَالْكَرَمُ التَّقْوَى» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وابنُ مَاجَه
Hasan Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In this world, honor is through wealth, while with Allah (in the Hereafter), honor is through piety." Its chain is weak. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.
