وَعَن النعمانِ بن بشيرٍ قَالَ: اسْتَأْذَنَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعَ صَوْتَ عَائِشَةَ عَالِيًا فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ تَنَاوَلَهَا لِيَلْطِمَهَا وَقَالَ: لَا أَرَاكِ تَرْفَعِينَ صَوْتَكِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يحجزه وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ مُغْضَبًا. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ خَرَجَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: «كَيْفَ رَأَيْتِنِي أَنْقَذْتُكِ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ؟» . قَالَتْ: فَمَكَثَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَيَّامًا ثُمَّ اسْتَأْذَنَ فَوَجَدَهُمَا قَدِ اصْطَلَحَا فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: أَدْخِلَانِي فِي سِلْمِكُمَا كَمَا أَدْخَلْتُمَانِي فِي حَرْبِكُمَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «قَدْ فَعَلْنَا قَدْ فَعَلْنَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission to come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he heard the voice of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) raised. When he entered, he caught hold of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) in order to slap her, and he said: I do not see you raising your voice over the voice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to prevent Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and he left in a state of anger. When Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) had gone out, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Did you see how I protected you from that man (i.e., Abu Bakr)?” The narrator says: After a few days, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came again and sought permission to enter, and he found them (the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her) in a state of reconciliation, and he said to them: Include me in your reconciliation just as you included me in your quarrel. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “We have done so, we have done so.” Its chain is weak. Narrated by Abu Dawood.
