(فَضِيلَةُ الصَّمْتِ وَحُسْنِ الأَخْلَاقِ)(The Virtue of Silence and Good Manners)
Hadith 4867

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى خَصْلَتَيْنِ هُمَا أَخَفُّ عَلَى الظَّهْرِ وَأَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ؟» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: بَلَى. قَالَ: «طُولُ الصَّمْتِ وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا عَمِلَ الْخَلَائق بمثلهما»
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Dharr! Shall I not tell you of two qualities which are very light on the back (in terms of a person's actions) but very heavy on the scale?" He narrates, I said, Yes! Tell me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remaining silent and adopting good character. By the One in whose hand is my soul! The creation has not performed two deeds like these." Its chain is weak. It was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
