Hadith 4769

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ نَهَى أَنْ يَجْمَعَ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اسْمه وكُنيتِه وَيُسمى أَبَا الْقَاسِم. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade that anyone should combine his name and his kunyah in such a way as to name himself Muhammad Abu al-Qasim. Sahih, narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
