Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(مَنْ يَقُومُ مِنْ مَكَانِهِ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ)(One who leaves his place and returns is more entitled to it)
Hadith 4697

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَامَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever gets up from his place and then returns to it, he has more right to that place." Narrated by Muslim.
