(وَضْعُ التُّرَابِ عَلَى الرِّسَالَةِ)(Putting dust on the letter)
Hadith 4657

وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذا كتب أحدكُم كتابا فليتر بِهِ فَإِنَّهُ أَنْجَحُ لِلْحَاجَةِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيث مُنكر
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any of you writes a letter, let him dust it with earth, for by doing so the task is completed quickly and easily." (Tirmidhi), and he said: This hadith is munkar. Its chain is very weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.
