وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «السَّلَامُ قَبْلَ الْكَلَامِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيث مُنكر
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "First give salam, then speak." Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is munkar. Its chain is very weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.
