(مَسَاعَدَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ حَقٌّ مِنْ حُقُوقِ الطَّرِيقِ)(Helping the oppressed is a right of the path)
Hadith 4642

وَعَنْ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ: «وَتُغِيثُوا الْمَلْهُوفَ وَتَهْدُوا الضالَّ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد عقيب حَدِيث أبي هُرَيْرَة هَكَذَا وَلم أجدهما فِي «الصَّحِيحَيْنِ»
Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding this incident, that he said: "Help the oppressed and guide the one who has lost his way." Imam Abu Dawood has narrated in a similar manner after the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, and I have not found these two hadiths in the Sahihain. Its chain is weak, narrated by Abu Dawood.
