كتاب اللباس
The Book of Clothing
(مَنْعُ ٱلصَّبْغِ ٱلْأَسْوَدِ)
(Prohibition of black dye)
Hadith 4452
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَكُونُ قَوْمٌ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ يَخْضِبُونَ بِهَذَا السَّوَادِ كَحَوَاصِلِ الْحَمَامِ لَا يَجِدُونَ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ
Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet as saying, “At the end of time there will be people who will use this black dye like the crops of doves who will not experience the fragrance of paradise.” Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.
