(لَا تُنْفَذُ نَذْرُ الْمَعْصِيَةِ)(A vow involving sin should not be fulfilled)
Hadith 3428

وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا وَفَاءَ لِنَذْرٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ الْعَبْدُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيّة الله»
‘Imran b. Husain reported God's Messenger as saying, “A vow to do an act of disobedience must not be fulfilled, or one to do something over which one has no control.” Muslim transmitted it. A version has, “No vow must be taken to disobey God.”
