(حَقُّ الشُّفْعَةِ لِلْجَارِ بِسَبَبِ القُرْبِ)
(The neighbor’s right of preemption due to proximity)
Hadith 2963
وَعَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
Abu Rafi ‘reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The neighbour has the best claim by reason of his being near.” Bukhari transmitted it.
