كتاب البيوع
The Book of Sales and Trade
(يَجِبُ إِرْجَاعُ الشَّيْءِ المَأْخُوذِ مُؤَقَّتًا)
(It is obligatory to return an item taken temporarily)
Hadith 2950
وَعَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «عَلَى الْيَدِ مَا أَخَذَتْ حَتَّى تُؤَدِّيَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
He reported the Prophet as saying, “The hand which takes is responsible till it pays.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
