The Book of Sales and Trade
(مَنْ يُحْيِي الأَرْضَ البَائِرَةَ يَكُونُ مَالِكَهَا، بِرِوَايَةِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ)
(The one who revives barren land becomes its owner, narrated by Tirmidhi)
Hadith 2945
وَرَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ مُرْسَلًا. وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
Malik transmitted it in mursal form on the authority of ‘Urwa. Tirmidhi said this is a hasan gharib tradition.
