كتاب الزكاة
The Book of Zakat
(حَرَامٌ عَلَى الْغَنِيِّ وَالصِّحِّيِّ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الصَّدَقَةَ، عَنْ طَرِيقِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ وَأَبِي دَاوُدَ)
(It is forbidden for a rich and healthy person to take sadaqah, narrations from Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood)
Hadith 1830
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ وَلَا لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد والدارمي
Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying, “Sadaqa may not be given to a rich man, or to one who has strength and is sound in limb.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Darimi transmitted it.
