كتاب الجنائز
The Book of Funerals
(وَضْعُ الْعُودِ عَلَى الْكِتْفِ عِنْدَ حَمْلِ الجُنَازَةِ)
(Placing the wooden plank on the shoulder while carrying the funeral)
Hadith 1671
وَقَدْ رَوَى فِي «شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ»: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَمَلَ جَنَازَةَ سَعْدِ ابْن معَاذ بَين العمودين
In Sharh as-sunna it is reported that the Prophet carried the bier of Sa‘d b. Mu'adh between the two poles.
