The Book of Prayer
(بَيَانُ الرَّقُودِ بَعْدَ سُنَنِ الْفَجْرِ)
(Explanation of lying down after the Sunnahs of Fajr)
Hadith 1189
وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ مستيقظة حَدثنِي وَإِلَّا اضْطجع. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
She said, “When the Prophet prayed the two rak'as of the dawn prayer, he would talk to me if I was awake, otherwise he would lie down.” Muslim transmitted it.
