Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Zubair Ali Zai
Authentication of the Hadith: It is Hasan (good). ● In the chain of this narration, Faraj bin Fadalah is a weak narrator, but Marwan bin Muhammad [السنة لابن ابي عاصم : 304] and Walid bin Muslim [السنة : 305] and others have corroborated him. Similarly, Wazir bin Subaih [صحيح ابن حبان، الاحسان : 6117] and Awwam bin Subaih [كشف الاستار، زوائد البزار : 2152] and others have narrated this same report from Yunus bin Maysarah bin Halbas, therefore this narration is Hasan (good).
Jurisprudence of the Hadith ➊ By «أجله» is meant death and the span of life. ➋ By «مضجعه» is meant the place of lying down, that is, the grave. ➌ The decree of destiny has been decided since pre-eternity (azal).
