Hadith 1499
أتدرون ما خرافة ؟ ان خرافة كان رجلا من بني عذرة ، أسرته الجن ، فمكث فيهم دهرا طويلا . . .
"Do you know what Khurafah (falsehood) is? Khurafah was a man from Banu Udhrah whom the jinn had captured. He remained among them for a long time, then they returned him to the humans. He used to narrate to people the strange things of the jinn which he had seen among them, so people began to say, 'These are Khurafah's tales' (i.e., he is telling false stories)."
