Hadith 1376
الحد آدم و غسل بالماء وترا فقالت الملائكة : هذه سنة ولد آدم من بعده
"A side-lying grave was made for Adam (peace be upon him), and he was washed with water an odd number of times. So the angels said: This is the Sunnah for the children of Adam after him."
Hadith 1377
ان آدم غسلته الملائكة بماء وسدر وكفنوه وألحدوا وقالوا هذه سنتكم يا بني آدم موتاكم
“The angels bathed Adam (peace be upon him) with water and leaves of the lote tree, shrouded him, made a side grave for him, and said: O children of Adam! This is your tradition regarding your deceased.”
