أنه صلى الله عليه وسلم أخذ القلم من يد على فدفعه الي معاوية

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) took the pen from Ali's hand and handed it over to Muawiyah."

Hadith 1337

أن جماعة من بني هاشم سألوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يحول الكتابة من معاوية فنزل الوحي باختياره

"A group from Banu Hashim requested the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to relieve Muawiyah from writing down the revelation, so a revelation was sent down regarding his appointment."

Hadith 1338

اول من يختصم من هذه الأمة بين يدي الرب على و معاوية

"The first to dispute before the Lord from this Ummah will be Ali and Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with them both)."

حبيبي قد اهديت هذا القلم من فوق عرشي الي معاوية . . .

"(Jibreel, peace be upon him, said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that Allah Almighty says) O My beloved! I have sent this pen as a gift to Muawiyah from above My Throne."

فاستشار جبريل فقال استكتبه فانه امين

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) consulted Jibreel (peace be upon him) regarding Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said, 'Have him write (the revelation), indeed he is trustworthy.'"

ادعوا لي معاوية . . . فانه قوي امين

"Call Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) to me... Surely, he is strong and trustworthy."

Hadith 1343

أن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم ناول معاوية سهما وقال خذ هٰذا السهم حتي تلقاني به فى الجنة

"The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) handed a spear to Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: 'Hold on to it until you meet me in Paradise with it.'"

فأعطي معاوية ثلاث سفر جلات وقال تلقاني بهن فى الجنة

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) gave Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) three registers and said, 'You will meet me in Paradise with these.'"

اذا رأيتم معاوية يخطب على منبري فاقتلوا

"When you see Muawiyah delivering a sermon from my pulpit, then kill him."
