Hadith 1282
خلقت أنا و هارون بن عمران و يحي بن زكريا و على بن أبى طالب من طينة واحدة
"I, Harun bin Imran, Yahya bin Zakariya, and Ali bin Abi Talib were all created from the same clay."
Hadith 1283
خلقت أنا وعلي من نور واحد
"I and Ali were created from the same light."
Hadith 1284
قول على : أنا عبد الله و أخو رسول الله و أنا الصديق الأكبر . . .
"Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am the servant of Allah, the brother of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the greatest truthful one (Siddiq Akbar)."
Hadith 1285
أنت أول من آمن بي وأنت أول من يصافحني يوم القيامه وأنت الصديق الأكبر وأنت الفاروق . . .
"(O Ali!) You are the first person who believed in me, and you will be the first person to shake hands with me on the Day of Resurrection, and you are indeed the Siddiq Akbar and Farooq."
Hadith 1286
لئن اطاعوه ليدخلن الجنة اجمعين اكتعين
"If they obey him (i.e., Ali, may Allah be pleased with him), then all will enter Paradise."
Hadith 1287
ان أخي و وزيري و خليفتي من أهلي و خير من أترك بعدي يقضي ديني و ينجز موعدي على
"My brother, my minister, my successor among my family, and the best one whom I leave after myself for the repayment of my debts and the fulfillment of my promises is Ali."
Hadith 1288
اولكم و رودا على الحوض أولكم اسلاما : على بن أبى طالب
"The first among you to come to me at the Pond and the first among you to accept Islam is Ali ibn Abi Talib."
Hadith 1289
من لم يقل على خير الناس فقد كفر
"Whoever does not consider Ali to be the best among the people has certainly committed disbelief."
Hadith 1290
علي خير البرية
"Ali is the best among the creation."
Hadith 1291
أنا دار الحكمة وعلي بابها
"I am the house of wisdom and Ali is its door."
Hadith 1292
كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوحي اليه ورأسه فى حجر على . . .
“Revelation was being sent down upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his (peace be upon him) head was in the lap of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He (Ali) had not performed the Asr prayer until the sun had set. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him: ‘Have you prayed?’ He replied in the negative. Upon this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) supplicated to Allah, so the sun was made to rise again for Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) after it had set.”
Hadith 1293
أنت مني بمنزلة هارون من موسيٰ
"(O Ali!) Your position with me is like that of Harun with Musa."
Hadith 1294
النظر الي على عبادة
"Even looking at Ali is an act of worship."
Hadith 1295
امر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بسد الأبواب الشارعة فى المسجد وترك باب على
"The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that all the doors opening into the mosque be closed, except the door of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Hadith 1296
يا على ! لا يحل لاحد ان يجنب فى هذا المسجد غيري و غيرك
"O Ali! It is not permissible for anyone to be in this mosque in a state of impurity except for me and you."
Hadith 1297
حب على يأكل الحسنات كما تأكل النار الحطب
"The love of Ali consumes sins just as fire consumes wood."
Hadith 1298
من أراد أن ينظر الي آدم فى علمه والي نوح فى فهمه والي ابراهيم فى حلمه والي يحي بن زكريا فى زهده والي موسي بن عمران فى بطشه فلينظر الي على بن ابي طالب
"Whoever wishes to see the knowledge of Adam, the understanding of Noah, the forbearance of Abraham, the asceticism of John son of Zechariah, and the firmness of Moses son of Imran, peace be upon them, should look at Ali ibn Abi Talib."
Hadith 1299
اسمي فى القرآن والشمس وضحاها واسم على والقمر اذا تلاها
"My name in the Qur'an is «والشمس وضحاها» and Ali's name is «والقمر اذ تلاها»."
Hadith 1300
خير من اخلف بعدي على
"The best one whom I appoint as my successor after me is Ali."
Hadith 1301
قول على بايع الناس لأبي بكر وأنا والله أولي منه وأحق بها منه
"Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The people have pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), although, by Allah, I was more deserving of it than them."
Hadith 1302
اول من يدخل من هذا الباب امير المؤمنين و سيد المرسلين . . . اذ جاء على
"The first person to enter through this door will be the Leader of the Believers and the Chief of the Messengers. (Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that) suddenly Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, came through it."
Hadith 1303
من مات وفي قلبه بغض لعلي بن أبى طالب فليمت يهوديا أو نصرانيا
"Whoever dies and in his heart there is hatred for Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), then he should die as a Jew or a Christian."
Hadith 1304
انه يمنع المطر عن هذه الأمة ببغضهم على بن ابي طالب
"Allah Almighty withholds rain from this Ummah due to hatred against Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Hadith 1305
من احب أن يتمسك بالقضيب الرطب الذى غرسه الله بيده فليتمسك بحب علي
"Whoever wishes to hold on to that branch which Allah Almighty has planted with His own hand, let him hold firmly to the love of Ali."
Hadith 1306
من يحمل رايتك يوم القيامة قال على
"(O Messenger of Allah!) Who will hold your flag on the Day of Judgment? He said, Ali."
Hadith 1307
اللهم أعط عليا فضيلة لم تعطها أحدا قبله ولا بعده
"O Allah! Grant Ali such excellence that You have not given to anyone before him nor will give to anyone after him."
Hadith 1308
انها نزلت فى على ثلاثمائة اية
"Three hundred verses were revealed about Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Hadith 1309
يا على ! ان الله غفرلك و ذريتك و لولدك ولأهلك ولشيعتك ولمحبي شيعتك
"O Ali! Allah Almighty has forgiven you, your children, your parents, your family, your Shia (group), and those who love your Shia."
Hadith 1310
من أحبني فليحب عليا ومن أبغض عليا فقد أبغضني . . .
"Whoever loves me should love Ali, and whoever harbors enmity towards Ali has harbored enmity towards me."
Hadith 1311
لن يموت هذا الا مقتولا يعني عليا
"He will certainly not die except that he will be martyred; it refers to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Hadith 1312
قول على غسلت النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم فشربت ماء محاجر عينيه فورثت علم الأولين والأخرين
"Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I gave the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the ritual bath, and I drank the water that flowed from the sockets of his eyes, so I was made the inheritor of the knowledge of the first and the last."
Hadith 1313
اذا كان يوم القيامة قال الله لي ولعلي بن أبى طالب . . .
"On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will say to me and Ali: 'Admit into Paradise those who loved both of you, and admit into Hell those who hated both of you.'"
Hadith 1314
يا على ! أنت و شيعتك فى الجنة
"O Ali! You and your Shia (your group) will be in Paradise."
Hadith 1315
مثلي مثل شجرة أنا أصلها وعلي فرعها
"My example is like that of a tree: I am its root (origin), and Ali is its branch (trunk, etc.)."
