Hadith 1268
لو لم أبعث فيكم لبعث عمر
"If I had not been sent among you, Umar would have been sent."
Hadith 1269
لما أسري بي رأيت فى السماء خيلا موقوفة . . . فقلت لجبريل لمن هذه فقال هذه لمحبي ابي بكر و عمر
"When I was taken on the night journey, I saw in the heavens a (beautiful, winged horse with a head of red ruby)... I asked Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him, 'For whom is this?' He replied: 'For those who love Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both.'"
Hadith 1270
اول من يعطي كتابه بيمينه من هذه الأمة عمر بن الخطاب . . .
"The first person in this Ummah to be given the book of deeds in his right hand will be Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Hadith 1271
يا أبا الحسن أحبهما فبحبهما تدخل الجنة
"O Abu al-Hasan! (that is, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him) Love both of them (that is, Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them). Because of your love for both of them, you will enter Paradise."
Hadith 1272
ان فى السماء الدنيا ثمانين ألف ملك يستغفرون الله لمن أحب أبابكر و عمر
“There are eighty thousand angels in the sky of this world who seek forgiveness for those who love Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them).”
Hadith 1273
من شتم عمر فمأ واه سقر
"Whoever abused Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), his abode is Hell."
Hadith 1274
من سب أبا بكر و عمر قتل ولا يستتاب
"Whoever abuses Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) should be killed, and repentance should not be sought from him."
Hadith 1275
رأيت ليلة أسري بي فى العرش جريدة خضراء فيها مكتوب بنور أبيض لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله أبو بكر الصديق عمر الفاروق
"On the night of Mi'raj, I saw a green branch in the Throne upon which it was written in white light: There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr is the Truthful, and Umar is the Discriminator."
