Dua when wearing new clothes

الحمد لله الذى كساني ما اواري به عورتي وأتجمل به فى حياتي
"According to the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whoever recites this supplication when wearing new clothes «الحمد لله الذى كساني ما اواري به عورتي وأتجمل به فى حياتي» will come under the protection of Allah."

[ضعيف ابن ماجه ، ابن ماجه 3557] ، [مسند أحمد 44/1] ، [ابن السني في عمل اليوم و الليلة 272] ، شیخ سلیم ہلالی نے بھی اس روایت کو ضعیف کہا ہے، اور کہا ہے کہ اس میں ابوالعلاء شامی راوی مجہول ہے۔ [التعليق على الأذكار للنووي 79/1]
