Hadith 776
من تزوج امرأة لعزها لم يزده الله الا ذلا ومن تزوجها لمالها لم يزده الله الا فقرا ومن تزوجها لحسنها لم يزده الله الا دناءة ومن تزوج امرأة لم يتزوجها الا ليغض بصره أو ليحصن فرجه أو يصل رحمه بارك الله له فيها وبارك لها فيه
"Whoever marries a woman for her honor, Allah increases him only in humiliation; whoever marries her for her wealth, Allah increases him only in poverty; whoever marries her for her beauty, Allah increases him only in baseness; and whoever marries for the sake of lowering his gaze, protecting his private parts, or joining ties of kinship, Allah places blessings for him in the woman and for the woman in him."
Hadith 777
لا تزوجوا النساء لحسنهن فعسى حسنهن أن يرديهن ولا تزوجوهن لأموالهن فعسى أموالهن أن تطغيهن ولكن تزوجوهن على الدين ولأمة خرماء سوداء ذات دين أفضل
“Do not marry women for their beauty, for it is possible that their beauty may lead them to ruin, and do not marry them for their wealth, for it is possible that their wealth may make them rebellious. Rather, marry them on the basis of religion, and indeed a religious black slave woman with a pierced nose and cut nose is better than a beautiful and wealthy woman who lacks religion.”
