Hadith 45
"Indeed, Allah Almighty descends to the nearest heaven on the night of the fifteenth (15th) of Sha'ban and forgives more people than the number of hairs on the sheep of Banu Kalb."
Hadith 46
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she reports from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Do you know what night this is (i.e., the night of the fifteenth (15th) of Sha'ban)?" Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! What happens in it?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On this night, it is written about the children of Adam who will be born in this year; on this night, it is written about every human being from the children of Adam who will die in this year; on this night, their deeds are raised (to Allah), and on this night, their sustenance is sent down."
Hadith 47
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that "Indeed, on the night of the 15th of Sha'ban, Allah looks with mercy towards the people of the earth and forgives all His creation except for a polytheist or one who harbors enmity (without reason)."
Hadith 48
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu’ report that: “When the night of the fifteenth of Sha’ban comes, stand in prayer during its night and fast during its day. Indeed, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven after sunset on that night and proclaims: Beware! Who is there who seeks forgiveness from Me, so that I may forgive him? Who is there who seeks provision from Me, so that I may provide for him? Who is there who is afflicted or in distress, so that I may grant him relief? Beware! Is there so-and-so, is there so-and-so, until the dawn breaks.”
Hadith 49
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that: "There are five nights in which supplication is not rejected: (1) The first night of the month of Rajab, (2) The night of the fifteenth of Sha'ban, (3) The night of Jumu'ah (Friday), (4) The night of Eid al-Fitr, (5) The night of Eid al-Adha."
