Hadith 84

وجد النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم ريحا ، فقال : ليقم صاحب هذا الريح فليتوضأ ، فاستحيا الرجل ان يقوم ، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ليقم صاحب هذا الريح فليتوضأ ، فإن الله لا يستحي من الحق ، فقال العباس : يا رسول الله أفلا نقوم كلنا نتوضأ؟ فقال : قوموا كلكم فتوضئوا
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) noticed an odor and said: The person with this odor should stand up and perform ablution. The man felt shy to stand up (so he did not stand), so the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said (again): The person with this odor should stand up and perform ablution because Allah does not feel shy of the truth. Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we all perform ablution? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: (Yes) all of you go and perform ablution.
